At Go BonVoya VIP Travel Agency, we strive to provide you with an unparalleled travel experience. We understand that sometimes plans change, and you may need to cancel or alter your booking. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds will be issued for bookings made through our agency.
1. General Refund Terms
1.1 Non-Refundable Deposits
• Some bookings may require a non-refundable deposit. This will be clearly stated at the time of booking.
• Non-refundable deposits are not eligible for a refund under any circumstances.
1.2 Refundable Bookings
• For bookings that are eligible for a refund, the amount refunded will depend on the timing of the cancellation and the terms and conditions of the suppliers involved (e.g., hotels, airlines, tour operators).
2. Cancellation Refunds
2.1 Client-Initiated Cancellations
• Cancellations made more than 60 days before the scheduled departure date will generally be eligible for a full refund, minus any non-refundable deposits and administrative fees.
• Cancellations made between 30 and 60 days before the scheduled departure date will generally be eligible for a 50% refund, minus any non-refundable deposits and administrative fees.
• Cancellations made less than 30 days before the scheduled departure date will not be eligible for a refund.
2.2 Supplier-Initiated Cancellations
• If a supplier (e.g., airline, hotel) cancels a service included in your booking, we will make every effort to secure a full refund from the supplier and pass this on to you, minus any non-refundable deposits and administrative fees.
• Refunds from suppliers are subject to the supplier’s own refund policies and procedures.
3. Changes to Bookings
3.1 Client-Initiated Changes
• If you request changes to your booking (e.g., change of dates, accommodations), additional charges may apply. We will inform you of any applicable fees before proceeding with the changes.
• If the changes result in a lower overall cost, a partial refund may be issued, subject to the terms and conditions of the suppliers involved.
3.2 Agency-Initiated Changes
• If Go BonVoya VIP Travel Agency needs to make changes to your booking due to circumstances beyond our control, we will offer you an alternative arrangement of comparable standard. If the alternative is not acceptable to you, we will provide a full refund, minus any non-refundable deposits and administrative fees.
4. Force Majeure
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations or changes due to force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, war, government actions, pandemics, or other events beyond our control.
• We recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations or changes due to unforeseen events.
5. Refund Process
• To request a refund, you must contact us in writing at reservations@gobonvoya.com or by mail at the address below. Please include your booking details and the reason for the cancellation or change.
• Refund requests will be processed within 30 days of receipt. The refunded amount will be credited back to the original payment method used for the booking.
6. Non-Refundable Services
• Certain services and products may be non-refundable. These will be clearly indicated at the time of booking and include but are not limited to special event tickets, certain promotional offers, and some custom travel packages.
7. Lifestyle Holidays Bookings
• You are limited to (1) one complementary alteration per reservation, after this if any further changes are required a penalty of USD$100.00 will apply, or you will be advised to cancel and rebook your reservation. All alterations must be for the same calendar year and are subject to availability. Failure to complete the correct R&D form will result in the difference paid being credited to you in the form of an accreditation. Refunds will not be permitted. Any cancellation for Dominican Republic properties received up to (30) thirty days before arrival will receive a full-service fee accreditation valid for 2 years, less than 30 days notice or no-show, which will result in the service fee being forfeited in its entirety.
• This is a nonrefundable reservation. Early departure will result in forfeiting the service fee entirely. The total amount of the all-inclusive confirmed at the time of booking is required to be paid on arrival. Should you arrive with less people than the original booking states, you will still be required to pay the original all-inclusive amount or you will be refused check-in. Should you need to decrease the number of people in your group, you may do so prior to the arrival date of the reservation.
